For advanced beginner or intermediate climbers, Island provides platform to prepare for a big Himalaya expedition in Nepal. It helps to acclimatize before heading to bigger mountain to climb. IT is one of the most popular and demanding trekking peak in Nepal. Trek through the Himalayan Khumbu can be done for acclimatizing island peak climbing. The simple route for climbing Island Peak is South East Flank & South-West Ridge. The Island Peak base camp is Pareshaya Gyab (5,087m) and this lies between Imja Tse and the lateral moraine of the Imja Glacier. Trekkers should be aware of possible avalanche because of the heavy snow fall.
The finest time for Island peak climbing is early March to late May and early September to late December when the weather is favorable for the trekkers.

Day 04: Khamandu - Lukla by flight. Trek to Phakding.
Day 05: Namche Bazaar.

Day 12: Chhukhung.
Day 13: Island Peak Base Camp.
Day 14: Rest at Base Camp

Day 16: Summit - Chhukhung.

Day 21: Lukla – Kathmandu by flight
